The medieval towns of Sicily come together in Castelbuono for an historical costume parade through the town, along with bands of drummers, musicians, and expert flag-throwers. All the different eras of Sicily’s history are represented with magnificent clothing and finery. Culminating at the castle, where the castle square then becomes the venue for a jaw-dropping flag-throwing competition - choreographed and synchronised to perfection. Medieval music and dancing creates an incredible up-beat atmosphere. This event is not to be missed.
