🏎️ Targa Florio Classica 2026
Every October, the legend of the Targa Florio returns — the Targa Florio Classica 2026 runs 15-18 October through the Madonie mountains and western Sicily, bringing pre-1976 classic cars back to the historic circuit. Castelbuono is on the route. Free for spectators.

Every February, Castelbuono hosts one of Sicily's most beloved carnivals — spectacular allegorical floats, sharp local satire at the historic Veglione evenings, and a children's carnival in Piazza Margherita. Now officially recognised as one of Italy's Historic Carnivals by the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Castelbuono's most important annual event — a week of religious devotion, historical pageantry and celebration in honour of patron saint Sant'Anna. The Sacred Skull procession, the Corteo delle Chiavi, the Giro Podistico centenary race and midnight fireworks make 2026 an unmissable year. 19-27 July.

On 24th June 2026, Castelbuono's streets fill with the scent of broad beans cooking in ancient copper cauldrons, bonfires, wandering musicians and free wine — the Festa di San Giovanni is one of Sicily's most authentic and atmospheric annual celebrations, with pagan roots dating back millennia.
Grand Finale — Parade, Flag-Throwing Championship & Fireworks
The Infiorata weekend reaches its spectacular finale on 2nd June 2026 — marching bands, historical costume parade, the Gran Premio del Mediterraneo flag-throwing championship and a fireworks display above the Ventimiglia Castle.
