Market stalls line the Corso Umberto and Piazza Margherita throughout the day, offering local produce, crafts and the irresistible aromas of traditional Sicilian street food. This is Castelbuono at its most festive and convivial.

As the afternoon unfolds, the centro storico comes alive with folkloric dancing groups, circus performers and street theatre artists — a joyful, family-friendly explosion of Sicilian popular culture. Brightly painted traditional Sicilian carts, pulled by beautifully decorated horses and their costumed owners, parade through the ancient cobbled streets in a riot of colour that has delighted visitors for generations.

The evening culminates with live music and entertainment in Piazza Castello — the perfect end to a day that celebrates everything that makes Castelbuono special.
