Every summer, for six consecutive years, one of Palermo's most beloved theatrical companies brings their finest comedies and family shows to the magical open-air setting of the San Francesco cloisters in Castelbuono — and 2026 is no exception.
Teatro Sant'Eugenio — directed by the acclaimed Pupella family, Palermo's theatrical dynasty — presents four evenings of comedy, drama and family entertainment under the stars in Castelbuono's most atmospheric courtyard venue.

Four shows — four different stories — ranging from hilarious comedies to a magical fairy tale for children and families. Whether you speak Italian or not, the energy, physicality and sheer joy of Italian theatre performed in an ancient Sicilian cloister under a summer sky is an experience not to be missed.
