For two decades, Castelbuono has transformed into Sicily's most glamorous destination for lovers of exceptional wine, food and culture. The 20th edition of the DiVino Festival promises to be the most spectacular yet.
In the heart of the Madonie Mountains, Castelbuono — a candidate for UNESCO Creative Cities for food and wine — has long been renowned for its extraordinary culinary heritage. Every June, that heritage takes centre stage as the DiVino Festival brings together over 200 wineries from across Italy and beyond, hundreds of restaurateurs, sommeliers, Masters of Wine, celebrity chefs and food journalists for three days of unmissable gastronomic celebration.
Now in its 20th edition, the festival's scale is impressive: 200+ wineries, 100+ award recipients, 80+ artists — all converging on a medieval Sicilian hill town of under 8,000 people. The contrast is glorious.
The festival unfolds across two of Castelbuono's most beautiful locations simultaneously: the intimate cloisters of San Francesco and the dramatic Piazza Castello, where concerts, shows and the prestigious Premio Gusto DiVino awards ceremony take place each evening under the stars.
The programme is packed with masterclasses, guided wine tastings, storytelling sessions with leading figures from the Italian food and wine world, and the immersive Salone del DiVino — held on Sunday 21st June at the San Francesco cloisters, featuring over 700 labels from approximately 200 wineries available for free tasting from 16:30 to 20:30. 🎸 Friday 19th June — Danilo Sacco, former lead voice of legendary Italian rock band I Nomadi, brings his Hold Fast Tour to Piazza Castello. 22:00.
🎺 Saturday 20th June — Lello Analfino & T-Orkestar ignite Piazza Castello with their Zero Stress Tour — pure Sicilian energy and Mediterranean brass rhythms to dance to until late. Saturday evening also features the prestigious Premio Gusto DiVino 2026 ceremony, celebrating extraordinary figures from Italian food, wine and culture including TV chef Giusina Battaglia, Michelin-starred chef Cristiano Tomei, Slow Food on its 40th anniversary, singer and winemaker Johnson Righeira, and Jacopo Fo — son of Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo.
🎭 Sunday 21st June — The festival closes with a spectacular double bill: Cosmin Tiberio (Golden Buzzer, Italia's Got Talent) and Samuel — the world's greatest ventriloquist and winner of Italia's Got Talent — bring comedy, theatre and extraordinary talent to the closing night stage.
